__ Getting To Know You__ You know the scene in Ghostbusters where Rick Moranis, Sigourney Weavers nerdy accountant neighbor, is throwing a party - Im giving this whole thing as a promotional expense. Thats why I invited clients instead of friends. You havin a good time Marv? - and he introduces new guests to everyone with their financial information: Everybody, this is Ted and Annette Fleming. Ted has a small carpet cleaning business in receivership. Annettes drawing a small salary from a deferred bonus from two years ago. Theyve got 15,000 left on the house at 8%. Well, that voice, Rick Moranis voice, is what I hear in my head sometimes when Im introducing people. Maggie, this is Jake. Jake, Maggie. Hellos etc... Maggie, Jake is a (something that he does) and he also does (naming other interests). Jake, Maggie has (somewhere shes recently traveled to) and she has (naming some wonderful accomplishment of hers). I know Im not revealing anything like financial information, but, sometimes I hear that Moranis voice in my head... I just want everyone to know each other!
