a FB friend posted this. Please folks punish the states that refused FREE Medicaid Expansion money. Fire them all.: My dad passed away a few short weeks ago. It pretty much devastated us. The sad thing is my dad was sick for a long time and refused to go to the doctor because money has always an issue with him. He worked two jobs every day for as long as I could remember. When he finally retired he took a lump sum that didnt last long and ended up with social security as his only income. NC opted out of Medicaid Expansion so his so-called options werent really there. Then when he hit Medicare he didnt want to seem like he was depending on the government. I tell you this because most seniors feel the same way. Had my dad got treatment early it could have made a difference. Dont lose your dad early because a State opts out of Medicaid Expansion. Demand Medicaid Expansion in your state so people can see a doctor.
