a HAPPY MONDAY to ALL...just sitting here, enjoying coffee, surrounded by the rug rats...listening to the birds slowly waking up and calling each other...and just letting my mind wander and think of how truly blessed I am...I could have gotten up and started complaining about being tired...or...sore...or getting up tooooooo early...or...well you get my drift...but the reality is...I opened my eyes and I could see...I could stand on my own 2 feet and walk across the floor...I can hear the birds singing...now you might say...and this makes you blessed...?......well it does...now close your eyes and see what it is like to get around without your sight and imagine all you would miss...now get to the door without walking...plug your ears and see what it is like not hearing the beautiful sounds of nature...so many times we overlook the simple things in life that we take for granted...and we have our own struggles that we go through everyday...but we do make it through...maybe not the way we wanted to make it (easy)...but we did make it through...and by getting through we grow and become who we are meant to be...the difficult times make us stronger...we actually have a pretty good life...we are never given anything we can not handle...and some of the people we encounter during the day can help us work through anything...so today...stop and take role of what makes you blessed...enjoy the blessings...smile...let your heart fill with joy...and when out today, pass on hellos...pass on smiles...and belly laugh...all three are infectious...and that person you come in contact with might just need to have those things to help them through the day...
