a HAPPY SUNDAY to ALL...fog report...bright sunny morning, yet when looking at the ridge a bit of haze...well there you have it, haze...boy was it hot yesterday...made sure i took breaks and kept hydrated...then was heading out the front door at work and look what i saw...this TINY little frog, stuck to the front door looking in...i really think the door was cooler than the sidewalk and he was trying to cool off...well i caught him and took him over to the garden area (where there are LOTS of frog and it is shaded and damp)...held him in a lily pond for a second to cool him down...then placed him on a pot of rocks in another lily pond...he was happy...then came home and turned the sprinkler on in the front beds...they were just so dry...went out after a few minutes and saw the coolest thing...birds everywhere playing in the sprinkler...big birds...little birds...all different kinds of birds...in the trees...in the birdbath...on the ground in a puddle...how cool...and how simple was it to turn a sprinkler on and they showed up...kind of makes you this...if you turn the water on they will come...(you know...if you build it they will come)...something so simple can be so uplifting...kind of like life...something as simple as taking the shopping cart for someone back to the cart stall, just because...holding a door open just because...giving a little extra tip to that server just because...getting a gift card and hand it to a random person, just because...stopping to talk to a stranger who looks like they need someone to talk to, just because...the little things in life we do for ourselves and for others is like turning the sprinkler on for the birds...they mean a lot to the people we come across...so today...pass on smiles...pass on hellos...talk to a stranger...and just belly laugh all day long...just because...
