a MASSIVE wild feline critter crossed right in front of me on Bull Hill Road on the way home from work at like 5pm today. stumpy tail, with solid-tan lion-like fur, and very bulky powerful legs. i slowed down, at first thinking it was a dog or a fox or a coyote, but this was a very big cat, like 3 - 4 ft long! he/she just sauntered from the giant gravel/sand pit across the road to stand and look back at me from the squash field and then disappeared into the forest at the base of the craggy hill, probably where this lion has a litter of cubs crawling about the rotting flesh and skeletal remains of cavemen and lost teens.
