a WPP HR director contacted me through linked in recently and wanted me to provide him contact info as he wanted to talk.. so I did... then 2 days later, he sent me an email(without even meeting me or speaking to me first), accused me of jumping from one agency in Guangzhou to another one in Shanghai within a year. First, I didnt hide this fact on my linked in work history so he should have known BEFORE contacting me; second, it was a promotion from GZ to SH.. third, everyone in china knew about how awful Guangzhou is.. Without even getting the facts from me in person and without reading my profile on linkedin(10 years at leoburnett/starcom, 6 years at UM, 6 years at Mediacom), he called me an opportunist.. .. this kind of HR people deserve to be blocked and removed from my contact list..
