a bit off going ons at palmy speedway wasnt there due to illness from palmy website STOCK CARS A 45-strong Stockcar field finally found some aggro, with plenty of action on display in the two groups, before combining for the feature race. 581p Jordan Dare and 127p Ethan Rees were fired up the wall simultaneously in the first turn of a slippery opening race, starting a bad night for the Rees family as 1nzp Peter failed to finish a race and 126p Asher retiring whilst comfortably leading the first, handing the win to the man of the moment 3nzp William Humphries. A flat left-rear cost Peter Rees the next race for the first group, with Humphries gladly accepting the flag once more. The second group was entertaining, with a great battle between 15p Rob Miers and 357p Aaron Iremonger boiling over when Miers was spun heavily into the wall exiting turn two late in the race. 505p Robert James used his experience to shove 119p Zac Harris wide on the last corner to snatch victory. He may have regretted it in the next race however, as Harris pummelled the veteran into the Pascal turn on the first lap in revenge. 76p Cameron Renwick took the win, with the entire top six different to the groups first outing. The feature race saw 75p Gavin Taniwha inverted as yet another victim of the first corner push and shove. Harris was in the mood again, walling 722p David Lowe, and was soon joined in stirring mode by 6v Dion Mooney and 99p Ron Tye. 38p Neil Coley lined up Humphries just as he was mounting a challenge on Miers for the lead, but the reds were activated at the same moment for trouble elsewhere on the track. This potentially saved Humphries bacon, but still cost him any chance of victory.
