a busy few days. while pete has been sick, ive been in the kitchen. made more pie crusts, 3 turkey pot pies for the freezer. also 2 recipes chex mix, 3 oyster cracker recipes, fruit loop cookies, 2 batches red jello cookies, 3 batches of fudge; all for the freezer and my christmas boxes. and i am like most parents, theres not a day goes by that i dont think of my kids and my grandkids. and while i was doing the fudge today, i thought of you sam. my grandson sam thinks i make the best fudge ever. (im glad he thinks im the best at something.) so when you come home in december, your fudge will be ready. tomorrow after we get pete home from the dr., its peanut butter day. fudge, peanut butter balls, my green cookies, l more batch of chex. ill still have divinity and brittle, plus my spiced pecans. those are the easy ones. ive already done several pies, and 3 batches of pumpkin bread. my freezer is getting full.
