a fan asks- My 3 year-old son has SPD and Apraxia of speech, he just started special ed pre-k and his teachers say he is doing totally fine which is hard to believe since at home the issues continue to get worst. They let other children get in his face (which he hates) and since he doesnt hit them the teachers think hes fine but as soon as he gets home he is very aggressive towards one of his brothers. Also, since he started school he has been having night terrors which are new to me and scare me. I told the teacher about it and she said oh hes doing fine here just dont give in to his tantrums. (I did not like that at all, she has had my son 2 weeks and shes telling me its just tantrums?) I dont know what to do about the aggressive behavior towards his brother, the night terrors and is it really possible that he acts totally normal in school like his teachers say and only have issues at home?
