a few minutes ago the church bells started ringing in downtown -- it is maybe the thing that i look most forward to every week -- as they started to ring Bessie Bailey from Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, Pratt City messaged me that Bethel will provide dinner on Thursday at Boutwell Auditorium and then Marco Morosini from Silvertron Cafe messaged that Silvertron Cafe would do Monday night and the Forest Park folks would do Tuesday -- this is the day that the Lord hath made; let us rejoice and be glad in it Monday a low of 27, Tuesday 28, Wednesday 12, Thursday 19 -- the folks on our streets are there for all sorts of reasons -- addictions, bad luck, stuff they suffered in the service on our behalf, divorce, lost of income, you name it -- but i promise if you took two minutes and got know one of them -- it would change you forever -- in many ways they are just like us -- they are just trying to survive -- i was blessed to have a family that taught me the two great commandments -- that are linked by Gods love for us -- the first being -- Thou shalt love the Lord with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. -- This is the first and great commandment -- And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thy self. love thy neighbor,feed the hungry, cloth the naked -- my cell number is 335 4573 if you need donations picked up
