a little #TBT on Ripley. To answer a few questions that some people asked: Ripley will be 8 on November 1. His Surgery will happen tomorrow early in the am. I know MCTs can have decent outcomes and yes I am a drama queen. But I went through 3 cancers with two labs that completely devastated me. Both happened so fast that I could not recover from 1 loss when the second round took my 2nd dog. So yes.. I am sensitive, worried and anxious. Ripley is very special to me because he survived COLONIC TORSION. This is a rare condition and is rarely ever diagnosed until after death. He also has tricuspid valve dysplasia. So I am a very nervous nelly when it comes to this guy. I am overwhelmed and so appreciative of all the words of support, hugs and understanding. it makes us all feel loved. I will probably not post until after the surgery and I know he is safe and has come home. #dog #mylove #cancer #MCT #gratitude #yellowlab
