a long long time ago(late 80s) a friend of mine (Dave Bauge) told me of a fair maiden who may be looking for a date (Jackie). I crooned this gorgeous princess with song (singing along to Elviss Blue Christmas on the Crow bar jukebox) I knew I would like for her to spend forever with me.so after many dates. I decided to go ahead and buy that huge honking 1/8 (maybe a bit smaller) of a carrot diamond solitaire engagement ring. ( financed by my Boss, Crow Bar owner-Dean Hermanson) I had the perfect romantic plan, We enjoyed Christmas eve at my parents. Once my folks went to bed I planned on placing the jumbo Jewel in a glass of champagne and ask for her hand in marriage. ( I had previously asked her parents for permission and was granted such) As my luck would have it, the fairy tale scenerio withered as my parents stayed up way too late. I had to wake up Jackie after they went to bed and with a great deal of anticipation, shoved a luke warm glass of the finest Andre Champagne that 4 bucks could buy and asked her to be my wife. Lucky for me, she said yes. We had an awesome wedding with an unbeatable reception put on by the older crow bar regulars with cake and food galore including a crock pot of bear meat courtesy of Dean himself. The start of a great journey. After an incredible 25 years of marriage, we have been through it all together, the ups and downs, in sickness and health, great times and sad times, the loss of our parents and my brother and the unbelievable joy of raising 2 fabulous daughters. Jackie has been the rock of this family. I truly am the luckiest man alive and look forward to the next 25 years of laughter and tears. Jackie Henrikson Thoelke Thank you so much, I am well aware it aint all been cartoons,I LOVE YOU! Happy 25th anniversary
