SQL injection is one possible way to hack websites backend databases. And i would recommend all beginners to start with it. It a very effective technique to breach security. Try to learn manual sql injection and never depend on tools because tools are dumb . And remember SQL injection is not the only way to do things..!! this is just the beginning :) Try to get some skills in linux because most of the time u will have to mess with linux servers.
