a race from the Dream World: Species: Ape-Men Type: Mammal (Ape) Average Life Span: 25-35 years Habitat: Dream World: Jungles & Plains near rivers and lakes Physical description: They look like primitive hominids and stand about four to five feet tall. History & Abilities: These actually appeared in Dream World twice. The first time was millions of years ago. When creatures dream they often dream about their environment, other creatures in it, and their own species. The different perspectives from different creatures dreaming about the same things combine to create what exists in the Dream World. In this case early hominids dreamed of themselves, and other creatures in their environment dreamed of them too. These went extinct around the same time Dream Humans began to appear and they clashed with one another, plus more abstract imaginations gave rise to more powerful creatures, evolving the dream world forward, so many base line creatures either evolved or died off. Many of the early hominids either died off, evolved into Dream Humans, Giant sasquatch like creatures, or dream goblins. In more recent times a new Ape-men species has appeared, these looking exactly like the older ones, only much smarter. They seem to have combined human dreams of talking apes seen in comics, cartoons, and other places, with the knowledge of their own ancestral past, and even some of the Furre fantasy added to the mix, in fact the new species is actually hairier than the original. However these too lack any special powers, but like Dream Humans are smart enough to be allowed into the cities of the Dream World.
