a rare opportunity is one that you get to be born, to see a new day, to see years even decades. An opportunity some misused and perished. Why are we not conscious of the essence of our creation; we no longer value the life of a fellow human, let alone, we all act as if such thing as accountability is inexistent, we inflict harm and hurt others, we all transact in an interest-taking economy, shayton is our closest pal, we no longer value women and we treat them without respect, words such as modesty and chastity are no where to be found in the dictionary of our women, muslims have left salahs, fasting, giving alms, hajj and other ibadat and justice is extinct in our midst. All these and many more are the diseases the current century faces; the Prophet (SAW) ended his farewell sermon with “Be my witness, O ALLAH, that I have conveyed your message to your people”. We all do not have excuses as we are all victims and need sincere repentance and attitudinal change verily; Allah has promised that He is oft forgiving and most merciful. Thank Allah for making me an agent of change (Da’iya).
