a volunteer writes: **Happy Face is Available for Adoption!*** Alas Happy Face might make you think you’re ordering Chinese takeout but HF will win you over with his charm. Happy Face is a middle aged Shih Tzu mix of about 7-years. Happy Face’s temperament eval is choc full of words like “soft” and “wiggly.” He gets just a tad possessive of his precious bowl of food so he’s suggested for an experienced dog handler. Happy Face is a heartbreaker: he was literally dumped in the Manhattan shelter as in tossed into the lobby and left there to fend for himself. Happy Face was so delirious when a human came forward to tend to him that he started frantically licking the hands of his savior. Savior? Not so much. That institution that’s supposed to save dogs is planning to kill Happy face tomorrow. He caught kennel cough and apparently there’s no space for his 15-pounds. Please share Happy Face so that his life can be saved.
