a young man was in love with a las, every time she spurned him. one day an old seer came calling, the girls parents worried sick about there daughter asked if the seer could heal her. the old seer went into the girls bedroom to see what he could do. she arose for a brief spell , during this time the old seer found a bind rune under her pillow. when he asked where she has got it , the girl replied from the urchin across the street. he went to see the lad to ask what he was trying to do, he said he was madly in love with the girl, and had made the rune charm to make her love sick for him. The old seer explained that the charm did not make her love sick, just very , gravely ill. and smashed the charm across the anvil with a hammer. the girl recovered rapidly. Be very careful how you cast and draw your runes.
