aH YM has been apart of my life for 3 years now and had impacted my life in many ways. In about 2010,16 years of age, Allah with his infinite mercy granted me and [my] close friends guidance and interest in Islam, and at that time we didnt have much knowledge and spiritual connection with islam. Since 2011 my close friends and i were invited to halaqahs by acquaintances in not close but somewhat neighboring suburbs. We learned a lot, enjoyed with different NeighborNets and groups and went to YM and to the YM retreats all years after that. We eventually brought YM to our suburb last year 2013, while still very young at 19 aH me and my close friends were able to create our very own neighbornet in our city/suburb and has made us into leaders and has impacted many in our community with a lot of youth practicing islam. By the grace of Allah alhamdulillah we are almost two years strong with our YM neighbornet and are blessed aH. [Our] knowledge, brotherhood spirituality and peace has definitely increased, and we thank YM for this experience alhamdulillah.
