after 17+ days it looks like this poor boy will be freed today and is coming into KRR via Jenny Sigler as a foster. He was adopted as a puppy and his collar was never changed and became horribly embedded into his neck. the controversy is long and the results of the investigation are maddening. This dog ran as a stray for at least 6 months that we know of. He is going to require months of emotional and physical rehab and medical care. Due to the investigation he stayed at ACS way too long. They performed emergency surgery on him to release the collar but unsure of any other repair that could have been done by my trusted vets. More updates will come soon.
