after the news coverage of the incident with the 9 y/o girl... I think of the trauma that this poor child is going to have to carry with her for the rest of her life & the guilt that her parents have to carry for putting her into this situation. The suffering and loss of the family of the instructor. I was brought up to respect guns, rifles and such for hunting to provide food . I believe that this is a right of passage for many families. I never put my hands on a semi automatic weapon until I was in the military I was 17. While I still carried the same respect the training was completely different and as a first time user was not prepared for the experience. I know that many may disagree with me... but an Uzi is a weapon of war and should be treated as so and should not be accessible to anyone under the age of 20 .. never mind the change to the age of 10 that has the NRA complaining...
