after the show, one of us decided to cruise on up to the Smokies for the night,then, we came back via the Cherohala Skyway(NC 143 ) for a 51 mile twisty ( and, deserted !! ) run; this road from Robinnsville to Tellico Plains is very similar to an elongated Tail O Dragon with no traffic at all. Actually had to drive a portion of the Tail to get to NC 143. Of course, we took the back way thru Cherokee from their huge Indian casino to make the trip.
