after throwing stages this weekend at boka and takashis, i am inspired to push my culinary envelope to prototype a couple of dishes for miss liz, two hits due for a future dinner gig, roasted red and yellow beets with a salad of frisée sliced shallots sherry vinaigrette and marcona almond silvers and dropped watercress petals then i braised some lamb cheeks with veal stock, red wine and a hit of amontillado sherry fired some saffron hit ratatouille over some stone ground grits drizzled with the braising broth. oh yea worthy of repetition
