again... I differ (Biblically) with tree and gifts, but I really like the one thing they focus on - the celebration of the manger should be about One - Christ :) ~ now... we need to add to that simple memory that He lived a perfect holy life, convicting His hearers with every word He spoke ~ and then He died (not for His sins - He had none/0/zero) ~ He paid the penalty for all who receive Him. The sacrifice for sin/rebellion cost Jesus everything on the cross, and it will cost us everything to follow Him - are you in? Life seems to keep getting harder... yet, interestingly enough - richer, and deeper :) ~ Genuine Biblical Christianity is not a stale religion, its a growing cutting edge covenant that leads to a clean feeling, clear conscience and spotless testimony (with no compromise) and a fruitful ministry of reaching out to those around us who do not know Christ and/or are not following Him, and growing in walking in His ways. Following Christ feels harder than the simplistic chasing of sinful pleasures and temporary trinkets down here... but thats just looking at earth :) ~ enjoy, this Kutless with This is Christmas
