agree with you Ronnie, we should think about this seriously. In fairness, though, we also have high quality actors, Tommy Abuel and Christopher De Leon, I believe are real actors, and we also have true comedians, your Dad was an institution. More so, we also produce high quality films, like "Oro, Plata, Mata" by Peque Gallaga, but not during Christmas season and, pathetically, our government notoriously holds hostage the Pilipinos by not allowing non Pinoy films during Christmas to be shown and so there was no real choice for the Pilipino audience to watch. I really wish that for the most part, we would be Pilipinos in film making - "pili - pino" as they assert, i.e., "fine choice". Unfortunately, we rarely have fine choices of films, actors and actresses, and so forth...
