ahg - my ruffled rose is driving me nuts. Its so pretty, and so different from the other roses, but its SO tedious and the time... might make it more expensive than what I can sell it for. I know my speed will pick up - I still have abrasions that are causing light refraction and that really slows me down. I dunno, well see. Ive learned through experience that people will pay what I need to charge in order to earn a living wage. Reaching those people - well, once I have the Etsy store up-and-running with at least a dozen products, I will be pestering all of you to post, pin, tweet... I will need as much help as I can get to start getting the word out for my jewelry pieces. The veils and headpieces are a different thing entirely, and Im gathering names of wedding planners and stylists and renn faire vendors, and they will be who I market to, at first, for those pieces. Ok, back to stitching. Im trying to up my tolerance, and make myself stitch for at least 30 minutes at at time, but I do quit once my eyes are streaming with tears from the light. Being visually impaired AND needing darkness just dont go together.
