ahhh Comcast called me again tonight. She said she was getting back with me because I filed a complaint with the better business buearu (sp) well anyway I let her go on and on (this was the same gal that called me two days ago for the public service comission complaint. Ok so when she was all done with her little speel I said you do realize you have talked with me before..She said oh when I said two days ago and you said at that time this would be resolved within 48 hours. That 48 hours will be up in an hour and if you had not called me for this complaint I would never have heard from you! I filed the complaint with the better business buearu the same day as I did for the public service.... they are the ones that told me to file both complaints. So anyway she removed the modem from my account then said I still owed them 79 dollars for November and December service..... I just lost it and I told her I had not used that service since the first of November and that when I called to have it shut off they refused to shut the account off. SO they were not only charging me for a modem I did not have they were holding me hostage for an account I was not using........ She deleted all charges at that point. I demanded they send me a something in writing that all of this had been taken care of.. It better get here in the mail soon or I will be back on the phone with them. I told her I have absolutely NO TRUST in comcast or what they tell me on the phone I want it in WRITING!! THE END (or so I hope)
