We used Jet Turbine Generators to produce 400 Frequency power for Radar and Communications equipment as we provided Surveillance of Enemy aircraft in the skys between Europe and the US of A during the Cold War. We were the 606th Tactical Air Command (TAC Unit) reactivated from the Korean War. This Equipment was Mobile and could be set on on any Mountain Top Any where within 24 hours!
