al at Lifestyle Holidays Vacation Resort Lisa H Waterbury, Connecticut 1 review “The animation team made it all worth it!” 5 of 5 starsReviewed July 28, 2013 NEW This was my first time visiting Lifestyles (Tropical) and I have to say the accommodations are beautiful! Lots of options where to get sun and where to cool off in the many pools or beaches. The food at the buffet was ok but IF you can get reservations for a restaurant it is even better. We ate at the Gourmet ( by the Sports Bar) and Italian. Staff at both places were very attentive and the food was excellent. What made our stay so enjoyable was definitely the animation team. My children (ages 12 and 14) were so excited every day to see what games and activities the team had planned. They also looked forward to seeing them at night in the shows. Jhonny Bravo was so friendly and helpful with anything we needed. He made it a point to keep my children involved in the activities and keep a smile on their faces. John Cena did an incredible job every day with the water aerobics. He was very good at pacing the workout and making sure to include everyone despite the huge range in ages. Caramelo was charming and really shined in the evening shows. His charisma and adorable personality made him a hit with everyone. Puchi Puchi was an absolute riot! It could be 10am around the pool or 10 pm during the evening show....and this guy had you laughing with his antics and silly gestures and comments. Lenny Kravitz was on the mic or in the pool area greeting people and grabbing a quick dance here and there. He was pleasant and friendly. The entire animation team was truly the highlight of our stay. This team works incredibly long hours and always with a smile on their faces. Unfortunately, while at the hotel I had to deal with some issues regarding payments and " misunderstandings" about VIP guests. This was stressful and very inconvenient but thankfully my children were occupied with the animation team and their activities.
