alright, so i didnt post any pictures yesterday when i got a new amp because i wasnt sure if i was going to end up keeping it. i really like my current amp (Orange AD30R combo) but, while it can be controlled, it can be a bit much sometimes. not to mention its pretty big and pretty heavy. anyway, i wanted to see how i was going to feel about the new amp before i got all excited and posted, and the verdict is in... i love it! its a Vox Tony Bruno 35w 1x12 (TB35C1) and its sooo nice. if you havent heard of this amp before, its basically a more Fendery sounding type of Vox amp since its 6V6 tubes. In any case, i love it, it sounds great, and its super straightforward on the controls. I didnt care too much for the built in reverb, but thats true of most amps for me. i use a pedal anyway. These normally sell for around $1200 but I called Sam Ash and got it for $599.99! They are selling the 18 watt version for $379.99 now. I havent read anything about them having any problems, but I figure the mark downs are because sales are slow due to lack of knowledge. anyway, theyre worth a look of youre shopping for new amps!
