alright vanners, needing help on this one... i am trying to put window louvers on the rear windows of my 77 dodge van, and i am having the hardest time executing. i am trying to tuck the louvers under the weather stripping around the windows. i measured everything and trimmed a bit off the top and bottom of the louvers so they, in theory, should fit perfectly. however, it is damn near impossible to tuck them under the weather stripping! get one side in, then it pops out when working to the next side. cant bend or manipulate the louvers too much or else i start to hear cracking, so im really hitting a wall here. you guys have any experience with this? tips and tricks? do i remove the weather stripping altogether then reinstall it? any help is much appreciated, im sure a few of you guys have done this before...
