POLICE DID NOT SET UP A PROPER CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION They let the body lie on the ground for 4 hours, never calling an ambulance. They end up loading Mike Browns body into an SUV, instead. Mike had been jaywalking with a friend without obstructing traffic, and the officer who accosted them turned his car suddenly, apparently threatening them with being hit, then shot at them from the car. Mike was hit by a bullet, but was able to run for some distance, while his friend took cover. The officer pursued Mike and shot him several times, although he was not armed and was threatening him. Mike died there in the middle of the street, just a few days before he was to start college. The police did not bother, at least on the first day, to take a statement from Mikes friend.
