am I the only one who thinks this reads like dear natives, stop beating your women? while there is clearly some intra community violence why is there NOTHING about the bs treatment too many women receive from justice officials, nothing about the predators from outside aboriginal communities who use their relative positions of power to prey on marginalized women, and nothing about how weve set up our societies to set mmiw to be marginalized from day 1. but you know, if those guys would just stop hitting their women ... o_O cbc.ca/news/politics/tories-table-plan-to-stop-violence-against-aboriginal-women-and-girls-1.2766880
