am delighted to hear the news of the recognition of FDC founding president Hon.Col.Dr.Kizza Besigye at the global level. over the weekend, col.besigye was elected vice chairman of International Democratic Union(IDU) wc is a global association of centre-right political parties world wide. this development came during the 12th IDU party leaders meeting held in seoul,korea. i think col.besigyes election offers ugandas political opposition an opportunity to project its voice and issues at an international level. Dr.Besigye was in 2009 elected as international democratic unions africa chapter chairman (democratic union of Africa). Dr.Besigye Will Be Deputising New Zealand Prime Minister John Key Who Was Elected Chairman Idu Taking Over From John Howard The Ex-Austrian Prime Mhnirter Who Has Served As Idu Chairman For 12yrs.
