am i lucky? i guess so first did a visit this morning to my favorite patient pele. he used to be mine and he is still the coolest dog. so funny to see the joy in an animal when he realizes who you are. then to radio has to give an half hour informative session that turned out to be and hour, rushing back to practice to do the planned patients. then to the airport. got stuck in traffic due to the amstel race. hart pounding i sprinted to the counter. I LOVE INSELAIR. i was allowed on still so i ran bcd to germaines car to get the luggage that was handed me by daisy. in the plane i saw as we flew by the hato planes that yup... theyetchi cave is a no go for research at this moment. unless we swim to it. the eroding of the area around it has not helped. arrival on aruba. i remember that the last time i landed on aruba, was when i came back from peru. sad becsue the plane did not stop in curaçao as was scheduled before i dissapearedinto the jungle found out at lima airport that we would not be stopping in curaçao on our way back.....the fligt schedule changed. my mom who s cremation is 8 months ago today... flew from curaçao to aruba, just so we could say hi hug and talk , live. so that precious memory was my come back memory. told you my mom was supermom. i was picked up by a ranger, and thank god all rangers kind of dress alike, because the small paper he held in his hand wasnt readable to me. haha. i understand why people fallen love with aruba upon arrival.what an airport. ah well. groceries in one of their biggest supermarket. of to park arikok. and it was as if nature was greeting, i saw a bunch of warawaras, a konenchi which is not socomon in aruba anyone(think boa), al lot of bats during the mist netting session and the first mormorps caught in tunnel of love ever, cool. then we saw the small burrowing owl on our way back flying in front of the car..sooo cool. so yes i am lucky to be here for pcmabc and the bat research. now listening to buena vista social club on my iPad as th thunders rollin the sky. so yes . very lucky. because if the rain would have started 45 minutes earlier i would have been soaked in aruba, sitting on a hill by an aluminum table as the thunderstorm would start. haha so hey yes i am lucky. cause that did not happen. and hey all the zillion bugs that tried to fit in my ears, nose mouth, while processing a bat on the table. they were lucky to be able to feast on a bunch of bat lunatics processing an dandling bats at the table , sweet revenge,,i fed one to a glossophagus bat. they eat insects. and he ate it. fast... yes the first research nite in aruba was a success for now. yeay. of to sleep ? no i need to process the samples, but hey no bugs........
