an inner secret I’d like to share with you ... I have noticed over the years of doing my Stonehenge Moonlight tours, when we go inside the middle of Stonehenge for just one hour beneath the light of the Full Moon, that when people first go in the Henge they are like curious children; running around like puppies and literally squeaking in delight a lot of people grumble that they are only just getting used to it when it is time to leave – and they also grumble that they cannot take photos ... and, there is only space for just a designated ten minutes of silence for those who wish to meditate to counter this, I created the full tour, which not only has a far more detailed 7 hour tour of the Neolithic landscape of Avebury and the Sacred landscape surrounding Stonehenge, but we also go inside Stonehenge twice; the first hour is at Sunset; we are wide awake, conscious, we can see stuff clearly and take loads of photos, including pink floyd album cover sun setting behind a stone amaze-your-friends photos ... we then go off and have a fine dinner while waiting for the Sun and Moon to set - this is on a new Moon, so that when we return, we have only stars in the sky (lunch and dinner are included ... ) when we return for the 2nd hour, people are tired; you have had a day of driving and walking ... you have had a nice lunch and you just had a nice dinner and a drink ... you have had, by this time, 13 hours of olde Rowan going blah blah Henge blah and you just want peace and quiet - Ssssshhhhhh Rowan !! your left brain closes ... and your right brain opens ... and feels ... and absorbs the magic of this place this is not an accident - it is a very deliberate and carefully planned 14 hour physical and educational ritual and it is the most enchanting day of my year there are 6 places left on this tour - the places move slowly because I do not speak of the inner ritual of the day for fear of spooking people lol - you know me well though, and I feel you will understand the value of the intention. In 2010, one person wrote on his facebook page, ‘this is magic of the highest order’ – they had a beautifully clear starlit sky for me this is the Henge experience and I would love you to get this it is on the 9th of August, a Friday If you would like to come, there are still 6 places available - it would be great to share this deeper experience with you in kindness Dave xx davidrowan.co.uk/solar/stonehenge_sunset.html
