and 1 FINAL funny and thought provoking analysis for today ;-) I love thinking .... but sometimes it hurts a little. I hear people talk of how low our military pay is too which is odd when that is where most of the Governments budget goes. Its been horribly low for many Presidents, in fact EVERY President has raised military salaries. With the military budget why wouldnt our troops be one of the highest paid in our country. Liberals cry about education and conservatives cry about military when both parties have been in and really only made things worse. I can tell you a lesson I learned when I was young that could help solve the money problem even more :-) My Dad and I are out in the Garage and working on Farm equipment. He has all these AWESOME TOOLS and like any inquisitive kid Im like Dad where did you get this big huge wrench? Where did you get this amazing socket set. How bout these screw drivers? Well I always got the same answer. He had been in the Navy and evidently to keep their budget for the next year they needed to spend it every year or lose it. The crazy thing with the Submarine Tool Budget is that they also could not give them away to anyone. Thus throwing them overboard was the official plan. Buying new ones every year would ensure that they always had the ability to be tools they needed. Well as good stewards many ships Captains at least found a way to not waste the tools so guys like my dad got all the tools he would ever need. The other crazy thing is that the companies selling the Navy tools was gouging them by grossly overcharging. You get my point. The problem isnt taxes or spending ..... its terrible management. With the merger of media and politics its hard to imagine the American political system can recover from this. But its not liberal immorality or conservative fanaticism thats to blame .... its that they are BOTH terrible managers and miserable businessmen!
