.......and I love the rainy days in Darjeeling; especially, in July-August, when there is an incessant rain for couple of weeks. A thick grey mist cloaking the surroundings, and the sound of rain falling on a metallic roof; one pretending like a lizard in the warmth of the sun; feeling lazy, sleepy, in a warm cozy bed listening to the sound generated by the fight between rain and metallic roof. Slowly pulling a quilt up to the chin and ears, and trying to get lost in a wonderful sleep while softly playing Kishore Das evergreen song on the back ground, Aane wala paal, jaane wala hai...
