Sunday and Monday opened 12-2 for owners to walk through to look for lost dogs. 9-12 Tuesday- Saturday open early just for owners to surrender. 18 hrs a week strictly for owner surrenders. 4 hours strictly for owners to look for lost dogs. 30 hours only for adoptions. No late closing (7pm) on Tuesdays so that Memphis Pets Alive can take pictures. No late closing (7pm) on Thursday for Yappy Hour adoptions. No opportunity for people who work to stop at MAS on their way home to look for lost dogs or to adopt. And now the 3 day minimum state hold will count against a dog because of being opened 2 hrs on Sunday and Monday. Please email the mayor that you are against these policy changes.
