and here goes the tutorial on how to root your htc sensation trust me, NO BE SMALL TIN OOOO . . . . . . 1. This rooting procedure applies only to HTC sensation. (Android ICS 4.0.3 with Hboot 1.27.0000) 2. You must Unlock bootloader of your HTC sensation Smartphone. Do it here: htcdev/ 3. You must create a backup of all your personal data. 4. Your phone’s battery should be at least 80% full. 5. Only For Windows User. Download these files on your computer 1. Fastboot: (mediafire/?9ylow29klhccc0x) 2. Clockworkmod Recovery: (clockworkmod/rommanager/developers/pyramid?name=HTC%20Sensation) 3. Rooting Kit : https://play.google/store/apps/details?id=eu.chainfire.supersu Installing CWM Recovery 1. Extract the download Fastboot zip file on your computer. 2. Using a USB cable, Connect HTC sensation smartphone to your computer. 3. Run ‘Cmd’ (command prompt) . While pressing the shift key, right click on any empty space, choose ‘open command window here’. 4. Write the following command in the command prompt. This should reboot your phone to enter bootloader mode: adb reboot bootloader 5. In the bootloader mode, select ‘fastboot’ option. 6. Edit the name of the downloaded recovery image file to ‘recovery.img’. 7. Write the following commands in the command prompt : fastboot flash recovery recovery.img 8. This should flash recovery on your phone with a confirmation message. 9. Reboot your device by typing the following command : fastboot reboot That’s all, you’ve successfully installed clockworkmod recovery on your HTC sensation smartphone. Rooting HTC Sensation 1.Make sure your phone is in debugging mode. Go to Settings →Application → Development → Usb Debugging and Enable the Usb Debugging Mode. 2. Connect your Phone to Computer using the USB cable. 3. Copy and paste the rooting kit to the SD card of the phone. 4. Run the command prompt and write the following command: adb reboot recovery. This should reboot your phone into recovery phone. 5. In the Recovery Mode, select ‘install zip from sdcard’ and then ‘choose zip from sdcard’. 6. Now choose the rooting kit zip file to install,which your copied to the sd card in step 3. 7. Once the installation is finished, reboot your phone to make changes. Bingo!!!! You’ve successfully rooted your HTC sensation smartphone. Happy rooting!!!!!
