Still, to this day, the clocks have to be reset so that they can be aligned to the movement of the planets. OVER TIME and with the assistance of the gods ENKI and ENLIL the knowledge of the heavens allowed the ancient people to predict almost every event in the sky and on earth. WHEN A FLOOD or tragic event would happen, stars were picked out of the skies based on the alignments of the planets. These would then not only represent the time of the event, but the time that the event was expected to reoccur on the future. I GUESS the easiest way to explain the ancient Zodiac would be this; it is the story of creation and the events that surround it. This is important because through this knowledge is found a common denominator amongst all people. ___________________________
