and thinking she may write a Sci-Fi short story. It will be about a world of robots. Robots programmed to do everyday tasks who are filmed and put onto a device known as a television screen (maybe Ill invent new words as this story will be set in the future, maybe 2084 which seems as good a title as any for this one), which are then watched by the masses, the vast majority of the population who do nothing more than sit around all day, breed like rabbits, sit watching the robots on television, and get their food delivered through a letterbox sort of thing every 4 hours which they have to eat or theyll be arrested and imprisoned for breaking the law. I havent decided yet whether other robots deliver the food, or whether its done remotely by some conveyor system dropped through a hatch automatically. Or even whether its virtual food, a sort of hologram arrangement. The robots who watch the television all day are not allowed out of their dwellings, which are measured to give them everything they need in the minimum of space. They are very happy people! They know nothing of a totally different world beyond their television screens. They know nothing of the ocean or mountains, they are just things they see on television. They receive their instructions through the television set. When to go to bed, when to feed the baby, when to put the bedding into the hatch to be collected by robots to be laundered. Etc. Etc. Etc. Now please dont say Im crazy. I know this is only a wild fantasy. Which is why I said, at the start, its sci-fi. Hey, there have been wilder, less believable story lines in sci-fi movies! Dont knock it!
