William Telstra 4WD Track Closure Updated 16 January 2013 The 4WD track between Anson’s Bay and Eddystone Pt Rd is partially closed. Specifically, the northern 3.5 km section of the Telstra Track – between the Baileys Hummock turnoff and the Eddystone Pt Rd is closed. The southern section between Anson’s Bay and Baileys Hummock is still open. The reason for the closure is that record rainfall several years ago and ongoing use of the track has led to excessive erosion, extensive braiding of vehicle tracks and the creation of metre deep pug holes.
