another amazing discussion I have with my customers: Customer: How much for a shirt? Me: Pricing depends on the quantity, shirt style, imprint size, imprint placement, ink colors, etc. Customer: How about 50 basic t-shirts with just 1 color? Me: Just 1 color on the front only? Customer: Yes. Me: Thats just $5 each. Customer (3 weeks later): Im ready to place my order for the shirts for $5 each. Me: Great - send me the art and Ill send you an invoice and proof. Me: (after receiving artwork that contained 2 colors on the front, 1 on the back, 1 on the left sleeve, and custom numbers for each Jersey on the back) Youre shirts come out to $13.50 each, plus $60 in set up fees. Customer: What?! You said they were only $5 each! Me: That was for 1 color on the front. You changed the order specs and unfortunately it raised your prices. Did you want me to simplify the art to get the cost down? Customer: Forget it. I have a friend who will do it for cheaper anyways. (2 weeks pass) Customer: Can you please send me a revised invoice, Im ready to place the order with you.
