another light bulb just went off, hoping Zynga sees and uses it.... I was just clicking through ALL those farms, just to get to the beginning ones so I could go to my English farm.... I didnt pay much attention to the count, but I DO know that if I had the option of an arrow on the left side when I open the travel window, instead of having to click through EVERY farm to get to the beginning, I would have saved a LOT of battery juice in my mouse. 1 click as opposed to probably at least 6 to get to that window of farms....
