any group of ideals or beliefs you base your life choices, character and lifestyle around is your religion....spirituality is not the same as organized religion because its PERSONAL and intimate....its a matter of identity development..connecting to ones higher self...rather than an intangible higher power...THATS the difference...unveiling the god/ or goddess in you and cultivating the power within...instead of submitting yourself to a power outside of yourself.....the connection of one self to the world and the people and lifeforms within it are is the ultimate goal of the spritual being....not to be confused with mass religion and its rituals and focus on what exists beyond the human eye. but to be fair...whether you beleive in god or not...we ALL have curious thought and questions about what lies beyond what we can see......the difference is....that..religious people feel a need to define it...whereas the spritual do not...its just IS. There is no need to personifythis force in the world....that most spirituals simply refer to as energy thats my explanation....and i hope it helps. being a "non believer" does not mean you do not have ANY beliefs or structure as far as moral coded and guidelines you set for yourself....that is your religion. peace
