any one who knows me well knows im not afraid to voice my opinion because of what people might think. Ive thought long and hard about how to articulate my feelings on what has happened this past week. people are scared, and rightfully so. but lets all make sure we focus our fears in a positive way and move forward constructively as a nation. We have led the world many times with our handling of tragic events. this is no different. we need to show the world how to face fear with resolve. We are not american, and seldom do we have a chance to prove to the world that we are not the same. THIS IS THAT CHANCE. this will be used as a scare tactic to instill fear and hatred toward Muslims. Do not let it control you. our government is corrupt to the core, so are the RCMP... but truth be told... i know a lot of good men and women in the military, and trust them to be armed WAY MORE then the cops. IMO we should only allow the police here to carry batons, tasers, and spray... if you need someone with a gun... call the army. the fact that after we start a bombing campaign against a country that worships the same religion as over 3% of our population,we still keep soldiers in uniform, in public, with out a real weapon is disgusting. negligence causing death.
