apparently, im in for a memorable halloween adventure. turns out my friend--whom im supposed to be meeting at the airport--flew into sioux falls while i flew into sioux city. then while were trying to figure out the best way to meet up, all the rental car places close--even though i have a reservation. im able to book a cab, which, for a one way fare to vermillion, costs as much as a rental car for three days. to top it all off, the airport closes at 10 p.m., so the guard kicks me out into the space between the airport entrance and the sliding glass doors. still waiting on the cab, but the guard showed me where the thermostat is in here, so i should be fine. oh and all the lights inside the airport just went off. someday this will be funny, right?!
