as I said earlier on this facebook page I have researched this for some time now on and off since the 1970s...the photo/s of the Druid Temple being excavated in 1937 I believe is still intact,and indeed part of a larger Earthwork along with a larger circle that fills the field that it is in...look at the shape of the field !. I also believe this to be the field that Ludovic McLellan Mann left in his will to Glasgow Council (not sure)...on the other side of the A82 opposite the bend at the top part of Kirkoswald Drive you can see it on the photo..... this is,i believe, the depiction of the larger Earthwork Solar eclipse as suggested on the line drawing by George Applebey of the rock found with cup and ring markings.Where is this carved rock ? and has anyone got further information on George Applebey,i think he is important to this. .....if you look at this on a map it is NOT covered by the Jurassic theme park (may the Gods forbid !) nor is it affected by World of Golf or anything ,block of flats etc ..as far as Google maps is concerned (I cant tell from here in Coventry) it is further up the road (A82) NW of the Golf site !!....but some of you folks in Scotland (Glasgow) could maybe go and check this and see...I am with confidence look at my arrow on the aerial photo and then look further up the field just to the right of this there is just discernible a larger circle on this aerial photo and map please !
