as Jesus have told us to be like children Hes granted us an attitude of God, Whos the Ancient by days, and Who never grows old. We do grow old, but we do it with different attitude. The attitude of a child toward aging is an eager anticipation - of the time when he/she can ride bike, can go to the sea, get diploma, get a first kiss. As we grow older, do we still have things to look forward ahead of us? If we do, we have the attitude of a child that Jesus encouraged. But we could also be never growing kids, whose desires are only for the new toys. There are greater things to anticipate than a retirement and a nice car, for instance. Lets grow old with the best anticipations of what the future should bring us. Desire for God, desire meeting Him, desire gaining His greater power to do good around you. Those things are yet ahead of us. Desire for good things of God, and youll never grow too old.
