as of late ive been focused on something interesting about social media. the difference between the truth and the projection is jarring and evident, and im only talking about myself. what you see posted on my wall, photos of friends, adventures at the beach, jokes, etc. is a part of my reality but very far from the whole truth. im experiencing the most brutal transition of my life, and in the past ive been made to feel guilty over having friends, over being in the trees and driving through mountains, over seeking safety, sanity. i really did have to apologize for that. now all that i can say is where would i be without these angels taking me under their wings? so if you see me in a photo, wearing red lipstick, please realize this is something that i do to distract myself, some sort of color therapy. the rest of my time is currently filled with many tears, as my life is far from ideal and i would never pretend that shit is all gravy.
